Amazingly enough, this actually looks worse than the original. That 1959 'classic' at least has z-movie charm, and Ed Wood's undying belief that he was making a serious movie in the vein of The Day The Earth Stood Still. This just looks like the same low-budget zombie horror crap that we see every week on the racks of Blockbuster.
