I was surprised to hear that it is moving along so quickly, but of course their winter is summer to them. Eric Brevig is starting his 3D engines and shifting out of pre-production now. Live action and CG 3D! :-)

You can potentially see why they chose New Zealand for their location with scenery like Mount Taranaki.
