Jim here. Unlike many movie releases of late who market a one week only release and then go well over - especially concert movies - this time they mean business. For a one week engagement only, LARGER THAN LIFE...IN 3D featuring Dave Matthews Band, Ben Harper and Relentless7, and Gogol Bordello hit a 3D screen near you (AVATAR explodes on the screen the day after their week is up).More than 500 theaters will be screening the concert movie. The venues for the musical acts are as follows: Dave Matthews Band at the 2009 Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas; Ben Harper and Relentless7 at the Mile High Music Festival in Denver; and Gogol Bordello at the All Points West Music & Arts Festival in New Jersey.
The concert movie event was filmed by inconcert3d and is being delivered to theaters by Cinedigm Entertainment Group. It all starts this Friday, December 11 and running until next Thursday, Dec 17.
